Are Pekin ducks friendly?
Okay so, I really want to adopt a pekin duckling, but I'm not sure if they're friendly or not.
any advice?

Any baby duckling can be very friendly and dependent on you. However once they reach maturity they are not. Ducks do not make the best of pets for picking up ,petting and being warm fuzzy pets. They are terribly messy birds and require constant cleaning and need a pool or other swim water. They are social birds and need more than two or three to be happy.

Adults are territorial and cranky. Even when raised from babies, they don't make good pets. They make an absolute mess and they can be surprisingly loud.
Unless you live in the country and have property for outdoor birds - don't get one!
