Under UK consumer law you are better off getting a refund even if you then use that refund to purchase another PS4 from the same retailer. It comes under not being fit for purpose, and so the retailer has no grounds not to give you a FULL refund. what is wrong with it? I just got mine yesterday and when i plugged it in and turned it on i didn't get a signal. and when i did it had some messed up screen. Like a bad static screen with colors hard to explain. but my ps4 had the white solid light so i knew it was working but with no sound and visual. so i looked online and i found to take the hdmi and switch the 2 ends and make sure they're both connected all the way. so i did that and as i was unplugging one of the ends can't remember which one it wasn't in all the way. so i made sure both ends were snug on the tv and ps4 and the ps4 worked fine after that. then this morning i switched them back around and the system and the A/V worked just fine. hope this kinda helps but if u are having the pulsing whit that means the system is either going into standy or is gonna shut off but the continuous pulsing blue light it the blue light of death. so that you would have to contact sony for
