Look kid, if you don't know what you're doing and have never written anything, then your first book is going to be just an exercise in writing. You won't publish and it won't get made into a film.
Write what you write, how you like to write. Writing in a story form is easier because a screenplay needs formatting that you would have to adhere to.
Keep practicing your writing and study the craft. Don't think about fame or publication, that's how to not write.

write a book then if it's famous it will be made into a movie
it's harder to write a screen play and get it made if you are a new writer and haven't made a name of yourself yet
