Your tax return is still being processed refund date will be provided when available. (2014)?

Getting the same thing here and I filed on 2-7-14 and return was "accepted" within 24 hours. Appears it's now the waiting game.

We've been getting that same message and our progress bar has been gone since this past Friday and we filed and were accepted on the 31st. A lot of people are getting the same thing right now. No, it doesn't mean that you're being audited. You would know if you were being audited because you would receive a letter in the mail from the IRS. All you can do is wait it out. The IRS has 21 days to issue refunds and it hasn't even been a full week yet since you filed. It's been 12 days for us and we're still waiting. You just need to be patient. You haven't been waiting long at all.

2014 Tax Refund Dates

My return was filed 2/5, accepted 2/6, went to the "Your tax return is still being processed a refund date will be provided when available" message on 2/12, I was unable to view a 2013 transcript until 2/14, and on the evening of 2/15 the message on WMR changed to a direct deposit date of 2/20.

EIC, Schedule C, child credits, pretty complicated return.

Tax Return Still Being Processed

I am so frustrated!Filed on 2/12/2014,said process date 3/24! Are you kidding me.Now April 23 and still saying processing.I cannot ever get alive person.Where;s my refund stop the bars.Pulled up on web they said 21 days.It will be 6 weeks on May 5 after processing date.My daughters went to another tax company and received theirs in a week.Maybe my tax person did not know what she was doing!

This is just ridiculous. I filed and was accepted on 1/28. Bars vanished on 2/14 with generic "your return is being processed blah blah blah" As of today, 3/26/2014, I've still not received my refund. I've called on 3 separate occasions and have been told to just wait it out, that I will get it eventually. Problem is, eventually could mean anything. All I want is a definitive answer. If it's going to be another 60-90 days, just say so. I'm so over this. Good thing I wasn't relying on that $$ for anything important or I would have been up that creek with no paddle. Going forward, I'm filing exempt. Let them wait........

I filed with Tax Act and initially my return was received on the 1st I had one bar and then I began to get the "your return is still being processed a refund date......." I called the IRS and was advised my return had an error that was fixed and wasn't updated back into the system until 2/6. I was told there was nothing wrong and to just give it the full 21 days. Apparently a lot of people are receiving this message and topic 152. Hopefully we get some info soon.

I filed on February 8 and accepted on the same day, then I got this still be processed message when I checked WMR one week ago. After I read many threads about this issue, I learned that you can check your tax return transcript at http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript. Once your 2013 return has been processed and scheduled for a refund date, you can find your 2013 transcript available to download at this site. My 2013 transcript was not available until last night (it showed no data or not filing for 2013 before it came available). So, I checked WMR after midnight, my refund status did not change until just now. Finally I got the message that Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank by February 26, 2014. I also files on 1/22.2014 this Friday will make my 21 days and still no refund every time i call the irs hotline they say they cant even pull any information about my return until they have had it for 21 days i have two dependents and not much has changed from one year to the next im freaking out cause everything is depending upon my return everyone around me has gotten there date and refund already im the only one still saying processing .

TAKE A DEEP ! It may not be all that bad. My Accountant filed my taxes electronically on 2/21. He said I would have Fed and State back in 8 to 10 days. He also did a few of my friends returns. They ALL had their Fed and State back in 8 days, and they got them either on the same day or 1 day apart. In 8 days I received my State (not Fed). I waited 2 more days.... still no Fed. I went to www.IRS.gov (Where's my refund). It said "your return is being processed and refund information provided when available". That didn't scare me too much until I googled it and read everyone saying I was getting audited or that they had 1 bar then it said this.... I called my Accountant. He said the IRS pulls random returns to review and they likely did that to me. I should relax and give them the 21 days they say then need before providing me any information. He said unless/until I receive a letter from them, don't worry and my return would likely be to me in a week. Being that my return was over 7K and he is a little shady and all my friends got theirs... I still couldn't help but worry. I checked the website everyday until.... THIS MORNING! IT SAID MY RETURN WOULD BE TO ME ON 3/12!!! YIPPY! If it doesn't come... I will let you know.
