its cold in indiana but i need to do a quick bondo fix?

I dont have a garage i live in an apartment but my fiances 01 santa fe has rust on the rear fender and i was gonna try to fix it asap at least a cheap fix. Would i be able to do it since its cold here ? Summer is quite a bit away.

    I would wait for warmer weather because bondo doesn't like cold weather. You can get some touch up paint and brush it on the bad spots until you can sand it down, and fix it right.

    HI, Bondo is not going to stop the rust.... it is used to fill dents and very small holes.. to stop rust you have to apply a special rust inhibitor or cut the rust out and add a new piece of panel to fill the hole..

    If you don't stop the rust it well keep on growing.....
