Why is it you have to open carry weapons, but cant conceal them?
I have a few knives and im just wondering, why is it that it has to be seen? and this is for any weapon, knives or guns. If you think about it wouldnt you feel a little nervous with a guy walking around with his gun or knife showing?

What are you talking about? A fixed blade knife in most States is required to be open carry. Handguns in most States are Concealed carry with a permit. Some open carry with permit. And a few Constitutional States open or concealed without a permit. I always carry my most usefull tool, a pocket knife. Concealed in my pocket. Have since Kindergarten when I got my first one for Christmas.. And yes I carried it at school. Elementary school at least half the boys carried a pocket knife at school.

While the 2nd Amendment has firmly established a person's right to have a gun, local laws are also valid in restricting types of guns and other things.
No, I would NOT feel nervous with a guy who is showing me his gun. HE is most likely far more responsible then the boy who thinks he has to hide it to be powerful.
