I just hope for two things...

that you don't have my breed.... and you don't live anywhere near me.

Why oh why would you need to ask this if you have researched. Teaching a dog on a bite sleeve is training a deadly weapon. I know I don't condone this in the hands of those other than professionals, it always ends up in misery, either for the dog or the owner. Please rethink what you are wanting to do and decide if its the best thing for both your dog and yourself in the long run.

Oh dear, please no. You actually DO need to leave it to the professionals or most likely you will end up with a destructive, unpredictable dog who is likely to be put down for eating the mailman, and you being used for all your worth. You need to go to a local training club, like 4Her4Life said, to see if your dog is mentally able to be trained to do it without being aggressive to everybody, and to be trained the right way. Do more research and it'll tell you exactly that.

You did your research and you don't know how to make or where to buy a bite sleeve? Find a local training club before you kill yourself.

Do NOT self-train a dog to bite. Doing research doesn't mean you know everything.

If you really did research, you'd know where to get a bite sleeve. But you obviously didn't.

Enjoy being mauled or watching your dog maul someone by accident.

and then having the dog euthanized for your idiocy.

Don't worry about saving money making your own sleeve. You'll be financially crippled for life when your dog mauls or disfigures someone.

If you don't have experience with training your dogs on a sleeve then you shouldn't train them on a sleeve... And if you had experience you'd know where to get a sleeve or how to make one, OR you'd already have one... Please don't train your dogs to be viscous.
