Is it possible to find a cheap apartment in Nashville?

I'm planning on moving to Nashville. I only get $721 a month for Disability (SSDI) Would I be able to find a cheap apartment? If so, what area/neighborhood would you suggest I look?

Thanks!

You can only afford about 200 for rent if your income is only 721. Since that looks to be less then half of what you can rent a bedroom for in shared housing you will have a hard time.

Try placing an ad here, http://nashville.craigslist.org/hsw/

You find someone who is really desperate and has a place no one is willing to rent for more.

I would suggest a studio, it will be cheaper. Because you must have money left over gas, elec. food etc.

Sorry I am not in Nashville. I checked the cheapest studio is $ 500.00. See if you can find a roommate.
