Has anyone been diagnosed with a developmental hip dysplasia?

    Not cancer but my daughter was in a brace at the at the age of 2 months for 6 months. Now she's grown and while pregnant, had hip problems/pain and had some problems with delivery. But it's all good now.

    A good friend of mine was born with that - when he was 37 he required a hip replacement. He was very happy to have had it done.

    Yes, but it isn't cancer.

    I was in a splint when I was a toddler. I have no lasting effects, apart from the fact my left foot points inwards when I walk. Most people receive appropriate treatment when they are still children, and have no long term effects.
