My computer won't work?
It shut down in the middle of a conversation on Skype a week ago, and has not been turned on since. I immediately tried to turn it back on, and got nothing. Now when I start it, it immediately open the "startup repair" screen, so I thought maybe that just needed to run, but it ran for more than a week uninterrupted, and nothing has changed. It is a Windows 7 IBM laptop.

You need to take it to a store, there is nothing else to do. My mom's boyfriend's laptop did that to. Sorry :(
