I don't think it's a big deal. Heigh shouldn't matter just as age shouldn't matter either. Sure to some people it make look "weird" but when you're together, are either of you honestly going to notice the difference? No. Because that's the point of relationships. It's to accept one another no matter what society labels as right or wrong. Do what's right for you and go with how you feel. Never go with what others may say because their opinions should not matter.

If you like her it doesn't matter what they think. You shouldn't feel feminine at all. Look at people like Keith Urban. His wife is way taller than him and he's still just as masculine. Just don't have your girlfriend wear heels around you ;)

Dont care about people. Once i read this saying " marry only for love". So those people are not going to spend time with ur gf. Not live ur life. Ignore their comments. If their comments affect you then you should not be in a relationship with that girl and be second guessing her. That is not fair to her.
