Any advice for a National American miss interview?

I did National American Miss last year, and I personally am not a big fan of this pageant, I found it to be cheesy and not a the real pageant experience I should have had, obviously I'm not doing it this year. Though some of the questions I was asked are:

- Why are you doing this pageant?

- How would your teacher describe you?

- What could someone say that would make you feel confident?

- How would YOU describe yourself?

- What title are set on trying to achieve this weekend?

I got my suit from Macy's but if your I got a size 0 and I'm 5'10 and it was really big and I'm not chubby but I'm not a stick, but you can always get it altered. I wouldn't do this pageant again just from personal experience, the staff that work there are kinda fake, but some are fine but then again if you like being yelled at to get off and on the stage then this pageant is for you. I'm not trying to bash you from doing this pageant, I just do not think its worth the money. Their will also be a bot seven to eight judges, you may be asked the same question twice.

TIPS: Really answer the questions as real as you can, the judges want to know YOU, not your best friend.

It's only February soo I think you can still get out if the pageant if you want to. But if you go ahead and do it, I wish you luck!

Are you going to an open call interview or pageant interview? If open call, go simple, sophisticated, but casual. For the actual pageant you should have on either a suit or a nice dress. You can find nice suits at department stores.
