Best Headphones for approximately 100 dollars??

Hi So recently I have been deciding to buy a pair of portable headphones with good sound quality and comfort. I was originally looking for headphones with detachable cables because I have had many previous issues with the cable breaking. Thus build quality is also a priority.

I have narrowed down my choices to three Headphones

The Bose AE2

The V-Moda Crossfade LPs

Denon AH1100- for these headphones I am worried about the durability as I have heard they can crack and also they do not have a detachable cable.

Please feel free to recommend other headphones as well

Thank you

From those, Denon. Bose and V-Moda are WAY overhyped and WAY overpriced.

Other reputable brands are Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Bang & Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic and Audio-Technica.

Sennheiser. Best bang for your buck. With Denon and Bose I have a general assumption that you pay more for the brand names and their 'trendy' looks rather than the actual quality. i haven't heard of Vmoda though.
