Which kind of denture adhesive is best for chewing food?
I tried using Fixodent but my bottom plate won't stay in place when I try to chew anything. Is there something better to hold it in place?

I often find that bottom dentures are loose because the patients has
-little to no bone remaining
-needs a reline
-or both
-sometimes needs to go to an advanced denture such as an implant supported denture.
-in the mean time, use a zinc free adhesive

You can have your denture relined and that may help. Over time, your gums do shrink.
