How to check warranty of nexus 7?

I am intending to get a nexus 7 that has been used.The seller has shown a copy of the receipt.Is it possible to check the warranty from that?

    Hi there,

    The best advice I can give here is:

    Prepare the Serial No. (if you still have the box it came in)

    Call the Samsung technical line

    Request warranty of the product

    this should get you what you want.
