Is it worth upgrading from 4GBs of RAM to 8GBs of RAM?
I have a laptop that has 4GBs of RAM, and I want to put 8GBs in it. I know I can it can support a maximum of 8GBs. But would it be worth it. I play a few video games on it, not hardcore games like Battlefield but or moderate games like BO1 and maybe even Titanfall(the beta at least). Would it be worth it? Would I get any FPS difference.

It's always worth it to upgrade to 8gb of Ram.Users say 4 is good enough, and that's true, but I don't want good enough.8gb and you will see a improvement in everything you do.As far as FPS going up,I don't think so.

It really depends on how good the rest of your hardware is. If 4 GB of RAM is truly holding your laptop back and you have the money to spend, then upgrading to 8 GB is worth it. If your laptop has anything less than a Core i5 or the equivalent and a dedicated graphics card, then I would say an upgrade to 8 GB of RAM is most likely not worth the money.
Bottom line: upgrading to 8 GB of RAM will almost certainly yield no performance or FPS increase at all. I would open Task Manager while running a game and see how much memory your laptop actually uses. If it uses over 3.5 GB, then an upgrade may be worthwhile. However, if you're only using around 3 GB max and the game is lagging then your money may be better spent on a new computer.

It would be worthwhile to upgrade to 8GB because for large games, more memory means less time for Windows to spend accessing page file on the hard drive. Memory price however is not real good right now, they seems a bit high for the last few months.

4GB is enough for the average home user, and you can get away with gaming on 4GB, but since you mentioned Battlefield, I would upgrade to at least 6GB-8GB. Battlefield 3 and 4 come very close to using 4GB.

If your laptop is seeming to be slow first download Malwarebytes and do a full scan. If things are found and you get rid of them, see if it is better, if so you don't need more. If nothing found then get more, cheapest upgrade you can do. Make sure the cards are matched, all the same specs.
