Compact PC HDMI TO SAMSUNG TV; sound problem how?
Have a Gateway DX series & Samsung TV... Ya'll told me to buy a nicer cord(YAHO: get what u pay for)... I did guess what still same issue..
Been through 3 hdmi cords so far this one $50,
Okay here's problem
the speakers are playing the background music well but the voice is way down their i can hardly hear it
Iv also hooked it up to my Emerson same exact problem, i used the hdmi on my laptop, works fine.
Could it be in the computer? How can i fix it, iv never used a pc on a big flat screen before?

It sounds like its the computer. Go to Control Panel > Sound > Right Mouse Click on the speakers being used > Properties > Enhancements and try the different settings and see if that balances it out.

What is the audio source ?
Do you use a receiver ?
If the source is stereo and the receiver tries to force it to surround you can get very weak centre channel ( voice ).
Try turning off surround if the audio source is stereo.
Depending on your equipment, it may or may not correctly autodetect the format.
