why is Podolski always on the bench?

1. Sanogo is playing exceptionally well, Could be the best player we've had up front since Robbing Hand Purses. He works hard, he breaks up the midfield play of the opposition, and these are his first 2 starting games for arsenal, and he's been one of the best players in both games. Have you kept in mind that he came from Second Tier French football, and has only just got back from injury at that?...featuring in 2 of our biggest games this season?...without any transition into the team?...thrown in at the deep end?...Exceptional. Sanogo is better than I ever expected him to be

2. Olivier has been too busy being 'Faithful' to his wife to be focusing on his football right now it seems, and In my opinion, has never worked as hard as Sanogo has done in his last 2 games. It's a wake up call for Giroud to actually 'Move' Because as much I rate his hold up play going forward, he doesn't do anything while we're being attacked.

3. Podolski just started against Liverpool, and was probably going to be subbed on for Ozil last night, but given that we used 2 of our subs on the Red card and an injury in the first half, our priority substitutes came first.

Pod is a good player, but I think he is becoming victim of 'overhype' now. He deserves to be playing, but he's not the messiah........

....I shouldn't have to be telling you this, if you are an out and out fan and you've been watching Arsenal for years, you shouldn't need to be told. You should either be hashtagging 'Wenger Out' or you should be doing what I'm doing and being proud of the team, for actually holding a decent score, against the best team in the world, with 10 men on the pitch.

I don't understand why he was on the bench either he scored Arsenal's only goal at the Emirates last year.

Plus so did Toni Kroos with that Kroos missile and Thomas Mueller who scored at the Emirates last year. Only Mandzukic did not score from last year.

Podolski would have been pumped to play against his former Bayern and his current German international team mates.

I think it is because wenger doesnt trust him defensively. He wants the team to defend starting from the front players and podolski just doesn't do that.

Podolski is one of my favorite players and I hate to see him on bench. Wenger needs to play him more!
