London is a City, not a country.  Yes it's pretty safe, and people from all over the world travel here very regularly

I would advise you to look at hotel &n B&B rates on the internet.  This way you can make your own decisions.  You caould be looking at £40 / person per night to £4000.  AS i don't know your budget I would not know where to start.

As for money- after you have factored in your travel costs and getting from airports to the city- then aim for about about $60/ 100 (USD) a day. London can be expensive- but if you look around you can east & travel cheaply.

London is not a country, but the capital city of the United Kingdom. Yes it is relatively safe compared to other world cities and the areas tourists visit are very safe. However nowhere is 100% crime free so take the usual precautions you would take anywhere. B & Bs mostly in the suburbs start at Â£40 per night. Expect to pay at least Â£100 per night for a hotel in or close to central London. Premier Inns are a relatively cheap chain but avoid their suburban locations. Go for their hotels in Hampstead/Belsize Park, Waterloo, Westminster, Earls Court, Victoria

London is quite safe- gone 5 times as a solo female- no problems- you just use the Same Common Sense you would in Any Large City
