What Presidents have been called worse names?

Is Ted Nugent the worse? (yahoo deleted my question when I repeated what he said). Tell me what he was called and who said it.

I don't think we've ever had a president who has faced this kind of all-out opposition.

I mean, Clinton had it pretty bad. The Republicans realized they could make false accusations against Clinton faster than he could discredit them, and their technique was to repeat an ever-growing laundry list of accusations, those that had been discredited and those that hadn't yet, all as if they had been proven. They accused him of small, petty things like stopping all traffic at LAX while he got a haircut on the main runway in Air Force One, and of big major things like rape, murder, and treason. They thoroughly (and expensively) 'investigated' all these crimes.

But then when Obama got elected it was 'no more Mr. Nice Guy'. 8^P I don't think we have ever seen such all-out opposition by a minority party. Like Senate Republicans making it an official policy to filibuster EVERY bill going through the Senate. Like the House holding >40 votes to repeal Obamacare, which they know would never get through the Senate or get signed by the president.

I don't remember any other US president who was so routinely called a socialist, marxist, communist, or fascist. Like 'liberal', those words have totally lost their original meanings. Today they just mean 'I disagree with this guy'.

I see this as a sign of growing GOP desperation. The party is shrinking because of ever-increasing insistence on ideological purity. It really has no political philosophy anymore beyond reflexive opposition to anything a Democrat says or does or wants. The party is torn by internal strife and can't find a candidate who can bring all the factions together. Their entire political philosophy seems to come down to just outrage and anger that we have a president that -they- didn't vote for!

Well, the democrats were fond of calling Bush a Nazi. Being falsely called a Nazi seems to be a very mean and malicious statement.

Hypocritical BS. Democraps started this down the toilet spiral with their personal destruction of Bush, calling him all sorts of mean spirited names, denigrating him for anything and everything, threatening him, mocking him, lying about him constantly. Republicans were never such rude asses as the Democrats. Libs set the tone, now live with it.
