Reading my book but I have to read a school book. Cant decide to finish mine or start the school book.?
Im reading a pretty lengthy book for my own pleasure and my teachers making me read another book about half the size as the book im reading now and im only half way done with my book. I have to read the school book in a couple weeks but im not sure if i should finish reading my book or read the school book to get it over with but im afraid if i read the school book ill get the story mixed with my book, but if i finish reading my book first i barley think ill have time to read my school book by its due date (i have to write about it too).. So what would you do?

Read your school book. Your necessities come first, Read your school book, you never know you may like it. then continue with your choice of book. School books are known to be a big percentage of your grade. Plus, if you are pleasure reading then you might like reading new things. GIVE IT A GO :)

If you won't have time to finish it after finishing your current book, then start reading the school book first

I'm in the same situation.
I'd say try and read the school book first, reminding yourself that the faster you read it , the faster you'll get to read your own book.
