How can I do yoga if I suffer from back pain?

I wish to do a form of yoga where I must sit up straight for at least 30 minutes. However, due to my back pain, this posture hurts too much to accomplish.

What can I do?

(I'm in good shape, I just suffer from back pain.)

My bf had a problems with his lower back and was able to do a set of yoga stretches that really helped. I can't remember the name but here is a video that might be useful.

If you have back pain while doing yoga you aren't using good posture or something. Do stretching exercises too.
