Avalon Limited AC Not Working !?!? HELP?
I started up my 2005 Avalon Limited (if it matters) and i turned the AC button and blasted it on high. I noticed on Half the Car's Vents, would blow hot (middle to left) and the other side (middle to Right) would blow cold air.. This is weird because it seems half the Car is being responsive while the other half has a mind of its own. I need to know what the problem is ahead of time before i take it to a mechanic so i don't get ripped off :)
THANKYOU!!

Take a look at the HACV control panel and the screen that right in the middle below the dash board. There are two numbers to indicate the set temperature for left and right side. If you have set it to the setting for heating (70F or warmer) and the right side vents are still blowing cold then it could be anything from low on freon to a defected sensor, vent control actuator, the controller etc.
A scanner has to be used for the diagnose, to activate, to read the data of all solenoids, actuators, sensors etc. There is no way anybody can tell you what is wrong with the HACV system without the diagnose, testing, checking.
Find a reputation shop and stay with them. Get with BBB and find out about the shops in your area. HTH.
