Quitting Smoking Question?

I'm quitting today and it's my final choice, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long before my organs start to repair the damage done through several years of smoking. thanks

your organs start as of..immediately to heal..as for the damage it depends from one individual to another

and on how many cigs you used to smoke..it can take several years to heal completely :) congrats for giving up

After 10 years of stopping smoking your risk of lung cancer is reduced by 30%, Come back next week and let us know how you are doing without the smoking and I wish you the best because it is very hard, I did manage to give up a long time ago but started again 16 years later, Good Luck

Idk the facts on how long it takes for them to repair but I've read it can take a few year for lungs. But that aside, gud for you! After 2 weeks you will notice mental and physical improvements big time...more energy, and just a over all feeling of accomplishment. Tastes smells u name it. You made a great choice!
