Winter Olympics sports? Some just are not sports.?
2 problems with some Olympic sports, first they are subjective, those with judges and second they are not sports.
Take the Bobsledding. Who does that? The 12 people in the world training for the Olympics?
When was the last time your friend ask you to go Bobsledding? It is an example of an Olympic "sport" that is not practiced by ordinary people as a sport anywhere in the world.
Take Snowboarding, people do do that but it is judged. That makes it very subjective. Witness the blow up about figure skating. Judged events are not real sports.
How do you feel about such subjective and little practiced events?

I hate all the subjectively judged events; you're right, they are not sports.

It's up to the people who run these sports to keep them relevant. For example the IOC was down on sailing at one point, Therefore ISAF dropped the highly technical Soling and added the crash bang 49er. Isn't everything from boxing to TKD judged?, unless it's a knockout or something. I'm assuming snowboard judges know what to look for just as TKD judges know what constitutes a kick to the head.

Look at the bad refereeing calls in some of the hockey games. That's therefore not a sport either.
