Can US Liberals explain why most of the Richest US President were Democrats?

The taxation of the rich is really just a talking point. Neither party wants to tax the rich. All they are really talking about is taxing the upper middle class. If they actually wanted to tax the rich, they would target all of the loopholes that only the rich enjoy. There is no reason to increase the tax rate, as that only hits the upper middle class, since the rich can move their money to take advantage of the loopholes and entirely avoid any rate increase.

All recent president look rich only if you do not account for inflation and the money they made after leaving office. Of the president since WWII only JFK and the Bushes were born in the top 1%

Being rich and trying to get rich off of people with your power are 2 different subjects all together. If I were rich I wouldn't mind giving up my riches to make society advance to a higher level. I don't need money if the world moves forward - you should evolve to my level of thinking.

I suspect they feel guilty having all that money. So they promote taking money from producers (but not their money) and giving it to non-producers in an effort to get their votes.

Because Democrat presidents promote economic growth, helping everyone to get richer, while Republican presidents destabilize economies, making everyone poorer.

Rich Democrats are willing to be taxed more. There is no hypocrisy here. It's been rich Republicans who have kept rich Democrats' tax rates low.
