    Just paste that equation in.

    x^3-5x^2+2x+8=0

    It will give you the three zeros (one of which is -1)

    2x4=8, -1x(-8)=8,

    substitute into equation for

    x= -1, -1-5-2+8=0;

    x=2, 8-20+4+8=0;

    x=4, 4(16-20+2)+8=0

    so it has three roots: -1, 2 and 4.
