I have a questions hopefully someone can answer?
Is it normal to blow guys off after you find out there not gay? I really like this guy teaching our class for new job. His name is nick. He told me today that I'm so cool and yesterday he kept coming to the back of classroom where I was and using me in examples for the class. I think he is straight though so I don't know how to approach any further with the situation.

You make it seem as if gays and straights cannot be friends.
I have both gay and straight friends. Romance isn't necessary when one is in pursuit of a friendship. If I'm being romantically pursued by a member of the wrong gender they should ask my orientation. If they wish to become friends, fine. If they want me in the sack, not happening.

He teaches your class? Does that mean he is an adult and you are a kid? If so you should not try anything with him. And if he tries to have sex with you tell the police.

Just ask if he wants to go out for a drink or coffee sometime. If he says no then that's your answer. If he says yes that may not automatically mean yes. But, if he does go out with you that will give you a chance to see if he is gay or straight. Good luck!

nuh uh. DO NOT LISTEN TO LAZYDAZE.
first.. ask questions when you have free time, does he have kids? does he have a wife? a girlfriend?
get to know him first before going further..
cause you never know, maybe he only likes you as a friend, maybe you're his favourite student?
socialize with him, before going deep.

yes he is straight didn't accept his friendship as that. if you find out that he is gay or bisexual then you can proceed further. don't rush it. go with the flow and take it slow.
