What does it mean when I see images out of no where but I only see them out of one eye?

Had cataract surgery 4 years ago - right eye. Then another surgery two years ago. for the Left eye.The first surgery went fine. The second - left eye - brought about some problems. ( blurred vision, lines seen a few times).

After 4 followups,they can't find anything wrong.

But a few days ago, I woke up during the night. I sleep in complete darkness and pull the sheets blakets and comforter over my head.

But as clear as day, I saw images of a number of people all walking around what appeared to be an office. They were carrying folders and seemed happy. The images were in color and were very clear.... Except that I couldn't make out their faces. They all appeared to be young.....none appeared to be any of my family members who have passed or even any of my friends. At first I was a bit frightened. In fact I kept pinching myself to be sure I was awake. I was. After I got up I didn't see any more images until later that day. and during the course of the night there they were again, still in color.

I am wondering if anyone else has ever experienced such a phenomenon.

I don't take medicines often, except I took an Ibeproven (sp) a few days ago for the first time in a few months.

I made an appoinhtment with my eye doctor, but this is so strange.

Again, I am not frightened..I just never heard of something like this happening to anyone. Friends and family have all 'diagnosed" my probem - from "ghosts invading my house, t spirits. to someone trying to tell me something, to my'imagination'.

But this is Not my imagination. I see these images throughout the day when I am fully awake.
