One of those impossible things for new mothers, but.. sleep. It really does make a difference. And eating, which is also challenging, but sometimes more doable then sleep. If you're giving a bottle for whatever reason, but don't want to decrease your milk supply, then pump right after you give the bottle, approx as much as he drank/ or whatever you can. Good luck - it is stressful, but hopefully it will get better.

The bottles are making your body produce less. Newborns will nurse about every hour. Why do you think he is hungry? Babies for the first month will gulp down a bottle after nursing simply because they are programmed to suck down milk.

Let your milk come in. Spend three days no bottles. About 6+ soaking wet diapers a day means baby is getting plenty of milk.
Don't worry, many moms stress they are not making milk - and formula companies push their product. The first month can be rough, and a learning curve. Again, plenty of wet diaper - hide those bottles for a month till your milk is established. if baby is fussy, could be reflux or something in your diet.

I would pump even when nothing was coming out just to help produce more. And supplement with Fenugreek pills (the tea is awful!). And drink tons of water.

I didn't have enough breast milk too so I heard about Healthy Nursing from Secrets Of Tea, I tried it and now I'm getting more milk.
Best of luck.
