Why would some states with a lot of cropland and/or pastureland not have many organic farms?
What kind of impact would an increase in organic farms have on current infrastructures?
What would encourage some states to have a large number of organic farms even though they may have less pastureland and cropland than other states?

Organic farming produces less product and thus less money for the farmer. In some cases organic requires more work since herbicides aren't allowed and weeds have to be removed with more work. Do you want the states to pass laws to force farmers to produce less and make less money? And, at the same time reduce the overall food supply for people?
