estimate ... copper has a density of about 6.5 g/cm^3
so 1 mole contains 6.023 x 10^23 atoms ... molar mass is 63.5 g/mole
(6.023 x 10^23 atoms/mole) / (63.5 g/mole) X (6.5 g/cm^3)
= 6.165 x 10^22 atoms / cm^3 ... take the reciprocal
Volume of 1 atom = (1 / 6.165 x 10^22)cm^3
volume of a sphere = (4/3) pi r^3
r = cube root ( (1/6.165 x 10^22)(3/4)/pi))
r = 3.37 x 10^-8 cm^3
diameter is twice the radius
d = 6.74 x 10^-8 cm^3 << answer
