Question about cancer?

Hello! I am 16 years old and work in fast food. I fry foods a lot as part of my job, and the oil we use is canola oil. Online, I read an article about how you can get cancer from frying with oil, and I am worried about being exposed to it every day. I work for a major chain, and they do have a ventilation system, but you can very much smell the frying smell and see the steam all over the place. Should I be worried, or am I just being paranoid? Thanks!

Canola oil is the best thing to fry in next to olive oil....You will not get cancer being exposed to frying with it. You are simply paranoid.

    You are being paranoid.

As Abraham Lincoln once said, don't believe everything you read on the Internet."

    Highly unlikely in humans.
