If you aren't supposed to drink and drive, why do bars have parking lots?

a place to leave your car when you take a cab home.

On the opposite spectrum of the irony you're trying to prove is that (at least in my area) all bars are legally obligated to have a food menu.

All places in America have parking spaces.

My workplace is in front of a HUGE shopping center and about 80% of it is NEVER used... the spots far enough from it where people might actually have to burn calories.
