Its not ick, tank has frontosas, 1 platy, 2 crayfish, a loach and snails in a 150 gallon tank.

If its only on your Drift wood then i would not worry.
When you submerse wood in water, various things will leach out of it and form things .
could be a Fungus so you could just wipe it off.

It's mold, take it out and scrub it with an old toothbrush in hot water and let it sit out in the sun to dry.
