how to complain about my neighbor?

My neighbor is a crazy, mean old man that has a crap load of antennas on his roof, for real he has around a dozen and its messing with our cell phone service and sometimes t.v.

I don't want to call the police because its not an emergency but I want someone to tell him to take some of them down (he won't listen to us).

I live in San Antonio Texas. Who can I call?

I think it'd be the fcc. There is some goverment agency that can take care of this. You can't force him to take down that antennas, but if he's broad casting at a level that's interfering with other people then you can put a stop to that. Try the fcc web site

    http://www.fcc.gov/

I'm not convinced that he's the problem. You get bad reception and then you see antennas on his roof. But that doesn't mean the antennas are causing the bad reception. Some areas simply get bad reception. There's all kinds of things that can cause bad reception.

Antennas don't actually cause reception problems. For there to be a problem he would have to be broad casting something. A short wave radio that's broad casting too strong or out side of it's frequency would cause problems. If all the antennas do is receive signals then they won't cause any problems, and it doesn't matter how many there are.

You could call the FCC but frankly you don't have any proof that his antennas are creating the problem, you are just assuming that. Tell the FCC that you are noticing interference with your TV reception and they can test the area for interference and try to determine the cause.

sorry but you do not have the right to tell him to take them down They are on his property and you do not own the air waves. You can ask but you can't really make him and the police cant do it either. you can't make everyone change things because it bothers you. sorry you are inconvenienced but he is not breaking any law so he can do what he wants. your cell phone and tv service are not his concern. try cable and a land line

Contact the Town hall where you live. They may have someone come out and speak with him.

Move. He can have his short wave without you interfering.
