    Eggs every time.

When I was a lad back in the early 19th century we had sugar eggs that had a scene inside them. Not seen them for ages. Lovely!

Why do you feel the need to mock???

Easter is a solemn time - a time to mourn the spending of big money to byu friends and family eggs when one could wait until Easter has passed and but them for next to nuffink.

Edit: I'm having problems with the word "buy" it seems.

I remember when I was younger i'd go to Church and then come home and stare at my eggs and I didnt want to open them so tried lasting them out for as long as possible. Now I just pig on eggs. Can't beat creme eggs. They are lush and a big egg of cadbury chocolate. They were always my favourite. I liked mini eggs, snickers because I loved snickers bars (but the egg was hanging) and crunchie ones too. Always used to get one of the cheap *** small £1 smarties ones off my aunties.

Having sex is usually a good way.

Favorite eggs? I guess the chocolate with caramel in the middle, but chocolate peanut butter is awesome too.

*Keith* don't be so freaking serious, and yes it is actually a pagan thing, but your religion has a lot of pagan qualities in it. Christianity took on some pagan beliefs to help assimilate the ancient romans and people from northern Europe. Even Dec. 25 was chose for Christmas because it was so close to the solstice (Dec. 21). Don't believe? research it.

  • I'm a little late to the party yet again.

I celebrate by sleeping in til noon or later and then eating those big chocolate bunnies, you know? I like to bite their ears off first. That's always fun.

Millions will be coming. Will you ?

    What is the event ?

The Memorial of Jesus Christ's death.

On the night before he died, Jesus instructed his disciples to commemorate the sacrifice that he was about to make. He told them. "Keep doing this in remembrance of me. - Luke 22:19.

The anniversary of Jesus' death falls on Monday, April 14, 2014, after sundown.

Jehovah's Witnesses invite you, your family, and your friends to listen to a brief talkon that date.

The talk will explain why Jesus' death is so important.

Easter celebration to we Christians, Celebrates the Resurection of our Lord and Savior. And His defeating death. To the Romans it was a Celebration of Fertilty. Thus Eggs.

Remembering Christ. Easter eggs I found out quite recently is pagan based. Just recognizing the work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary and why he came into the world, so mankind can be reconciled back to God, and pointing others to Him, will do. The time is short.

if Easter came from the remembrance of Christ should it ever be forgotten? Christmas is another holiday that was to be about Christ and his birth and, these days they have made it about buying gifts for others even if you can not afford them , when it was really meant only to be about Love, and giving of Love

I used to love the dark chocolate filled Cadbury cream eggs but they don't seem to make them anymore.
