How long should I wait until getting in another relationship?

I'm in college and I recently broke up with my girlfriend of a year and a half. I broke up with her because I just became unattracted to her and stopped caring for her as much as should have. I felt bad because she did nothing wrong, but I knew I had to. Now there is a girl that I have everything in common with and I would love to date, but how long should I wait?
