Does this ever happen in reality?

So I have been watching a lot of rom coms and I just started thinking if these types of romances actually happen in life..Why do the relationships in movies differ so much from the ones in reality? It's kinda depressing because the movies are fake and they make you feel so forever alone because no relationship in life is actually like that.. :/ Then it makes me wonder if i'll even ever find someone you know? Society is just so messed up these days it's like you only find a good boyfriend at a party you both happened to be at, at the same drinking. Its just my thoughts..any answers would be appreciated.
