Thank You letter after interview...who to sent to?
I had a job interview for a position and interviewed separately with four different people within that department, one of them being the Vice President for the department. Now, I have all the emails (through the HR), but I am unsure who to send a thank you email to.
If I send each interviewer, than I will need to change each letter. I was thinking of just sending one to the VP, because the others work under her on the same team (except one). Would this be appropriate?
I made sure to thank each interviewer after my interview in person.
What do you think is the best approach?
Thanks

Send a separate thank you note to each interviewer. If there is time, a hand-written thank you note is better. If they are going to make a quick decision and there is no time for snail mail, send individual emails. Change the wording for each one and use this opportunity to reiterate your interest and good fit for the job. Even though the VP will have final say, each person who interviewed you will have an opinion about you.

I agree with Marie. Send a different email to each one, and also send a handwritten formal thank you note on formal business stationery.
Don't make them all the same, because they will be talking to each other, and you don't want them to find out you did not take the time to send a different one to each person.
The reason you should send each one and email and each one a note is to show that when it comes to interviewing, none of them is less important than the other.
Good luck and hope you get the job.

did they PERSONALLY give u cards with email on them? no? then sending email will be rude. I could never understand thank u emails for interview. what if they have to interview 10 people and all 10 will send them emails? it will be like spamming office server. I suggest u SEND A CARD, not email. and card to each of them on the office address
