What is one inovation that the chinese made?

Okay I want to understand more thoroughly the ancient Chinese. So it must be between 1750 BC to AD 200. It must have impacted a large number of people. It must have changed the beliefs of the Chinese or the way things were done, and this innovation must have had a long lasting impact.

Three major ones were the compass, gunpowder, and paper. The compass enabled navigation and exploration. Gunpower, initially used for celebration, became essential in weaponry. Paper gave rise to printing.

They invented printing too, but not until the Seventh Century.

Well, IMO the most important innovation in the time frame you mentioned would be the development of a writing system which happened during the Shang Dynasty.
