no signal on monitor?
ok basically the other day i purchased a new cpu and when i changed it i got no signal on the monitor, so i changed them back to the one that i originally had which had nothing wrong with it and same issue. so i thought maybe my psu went so i tried it in my spare pc and the power supply worked so no issue there. basically i've tried my psu and gpu in the other computer and they both work. So after all this i bought a new motherboard thinking the new cpu might of just burnt it out (i was going to upgrade the motherboard anyway) but same issue. Basically this is way beyond my knowledge now and quite frankly i have no clue. TBH im starting to get ticked off by it. any help would be appreciated thanks.

if you have verified that all the parts work, then the only thing that I can see wrong is that the CPU is not mounted properly. check the motherboard manual and will give you details on how to mount the CPU, it could be you simply missed a clip or something like that.
the other thing you may want to investigate is the monitor itself, try reseating the connection (VGA, DVI, HDMI, whatever you are using) if that fails, try it on your functional computer, if that does not work, then you know it is your CPU.
