Thank you, Tim. Now I know why my search for Crown of Thorns keeps taking me to Hawthorn Berry, which is much easier to find. Besides the only Crown of Thorn Extract suppliers I have found are in China, and I don't feel safe with ordering from that far away.

Crown of Thorns is the Hawthorn Berry from the bush likely used for the crown of thorns prior to Jesus' crucifixion.

I think something like that would look just lovely atop the large, wooden, hand-carved Thor's Hammer already on my front door. I would leave it up year-round, of course, just like I do a lot of my Halloween decorations. I've got the coolest house in the neighborhood by far. Frogma, a lot of us go into those places and buy books to not only creep out people like childhood Batty and her parents, but also to try to understand "what in Lady Hel's blessed name is WRONG with some of these people?!?" through reading rather than just asking. Asking seems a bit rude, you know.
