How can a 14 year old boy make money?
Ok now I know it's crazy but I want $500 by the beginning of May. I want a few pairs of new shoes and they are pretty expensive (they're nikes). I am old enough to get a job permit in my state but I don't know who would hire me because I would be able to work for only 3 hours a day. I've tried babysitting but there is seriously only like 3 kids in my whole neighborhood and they all have older siblings. It's march so I can't shovel snow. I want to sell things but my dad says my reason is stupid. Because I got new shoes from basketball. There's already a dog walker and my parents say my allowance is my phone bill is there anyone who would hire me? Or anything ? Please help

Ask anybody and everyone if there are odd jobs that you can do for money. People need help with stuff all the time.

It is unrealistic to expect $500 in 2 months working 3 hours a day maximum (not even every day) at age 14. Not crazy, unrealistic. It will not happen. You father probably thinks your thinking is unreasonable. It is. So is expecting to sell things and get $500 for them. People don't get much more than a small percentage of the value of something if it were new.
