1. DJ Premier though Alchemist is also not far behind.
2. The Neptunes , I always found Timbaland just an above average producer.
3. Dr. Dre if its solely about production but as an overall artist Kanye is better.
4. Illmatic and The Chronic
5. These guys are fine at doing their thing but I think Madlib is currently the best producer out of the West Coast.
