what is a good way to move mp3 files to an Ipod Mini without a mini DS card?

I purchased an Ipod mini. It has a small card that I don't have a slot for in my PC. I'm just trying to move music from Itunes on my pc to this mp3 player. When I bought it, thought it would have had a slot for a usb cable also.

there's a mini slot on the right side of your (my) laptop that fits an SD card if that's what you mean, it's just a 3cm slit.

    Ok,

    - the iPod mini was discontinued in 2007. Even if you have one, I somehow doubt that the battery will still be functional

    - the iPod mini (like all Apple devices) has internal storage, it can't use any kind of storage card

    - all iDevices[1] are simply connected to the host computer through USB, often through a proprietary cable

So, I don't know what you've got, but it definitely isn't an iPod of any kind. Either get an MP3 player with a USB connection, or a reader for the microSD card.

[1]Ok, except for the original iPod, which was connected through FireWire - USB being much too slow in those days.
