Best Live performance - Kylie - at a midnight start concert at a small venue in Melbourne. Love her or hate her she puts on a great show.

Best of the worst - Meatloaf - at a day on the green in 2012. Couldn't hold a note, constantly out of breath, but hey, it's Meatloaf!

Edit: Oh yeah! Acca Dacca live. The old boys can still turn it up. And Jimmy Barnes singing Khe Sanh live in Saigon (after being told not to)...priceless.

?, Over this side of the pond, Elton John, Phillip Phillips, Paul McCarttey, Rod Stewart (was dragged there by my wife)

In Australia, Jimmy Barnes, Billy Thorpe, Johnny Farnahm. There was a great Australian band I saw at South Sydney Juniors, forgot the name, but the show was awesome.

I was very surprised with the talent there, really good stuff.

Being a bushie most of my life I have never seen any of them live. But I did see Cliff Richard live umpteen years ago and he knew what he was doing.

He went toward the edge of the stage and all the teenyboppers started to scream. He looked down and said "Shaddup" and the rest of the audience laughed. Shut them up though. Probably was not the first to do that and he probably did it every concert. Still, we got a laugh out of it. It was bl00dy cold too, I remember that.

One of the best performances I have seen on TV was Elvis Presley's comeback concert. I had never been a fan but he was really good.

EDIT Nearly forgot. Saw Railroad Gin in Brisbane in the mid 70s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-KCzJ2ZTro

    Here's J O'K at the Sydney Stadium

Best I've ever seen live was Paul Kelly, at a nightclub on the Gold Coast just after he released the album 'Gossip'

Henry Rollins Band at East Leagues Club comes second.

I saw Public Image Ltd (PIL) in Sydney last year. One of my favourite bands of all time and definitely the BEST concert I have been to in 20 years.

John Lydon was so funny jumping around in his fluffy grey poncho: "I am not a fckn koala bear, I am a WARRIOR!!"

From my front row bacony spot, I had heaps of eye contact and dance off moves with him throughout the show. It was such a mad buzz. He's still a fully wild tribal punk. I love him.

I've been to see three Andre Rieu shows and while he is the master front man the main reason I go is to see and hear the singers he brings with him.

My favourite is Carmen Monarcha who has been in all 3 shows

Of that list,Slim Dusty is the only live act I saw.I am not interested in seeing overseas artists at all.My favourite live act was the Irish Drovers(not to be confused with The Irish Rovers).I dare say they are retired by now.

Lana Del Ray with her song 'Summertime Sadness'. I also like Seven Lions by Fractals, except without that rock/rough parts that come later on in the song.
