Eminem Infinite?

What do you guys think of this album? IMO its one of the most lyrically complex and impressive rap album ever.

It's good. Production wise it's not that great, but it's not his greatest work. IMO.

The ridiculously heavy emphasis on flow and multis tends to suffocate any actual concepts or themes, let alone personality. Some of the rhyme schemes are borderline genius but the bars themselves, while definitely noteworthy, aren't really exceptional.

As for the production, it's generally what you'd expect from a budget release, although the beat for Infinite is classic-level and one or two others aren't bad.

With all that said, Infinite's overall sound is fairly intriguing to me - a pretty basic yet grimy, sinister variant of boom bap with a reoccurring emphasis on static, rumbling bass lines and atmospheric keys. These are motifs you quite often hear in '90s Midwest hip-hop but this isn't a bad thing, if anything it gives Infinite a sort of regional cogency, which is cool. Sometimes the Midwest (and South) were pegged as followers of the East and West early on but you can hear the differences if you pay attention.

Anyway, in the grand scheme of things, Infinite was (and still sounds like) an early-career practice session - people calling it classic are delusional...

Despite a few really exceptional facets, Infinite's a recording of it's time in many ways - it comes through in a lot in the subject matter.

There was nothing wrong with It but it was not his best work,Most of it was him trying to find himself. His early style and flow takes a lot from Young Nas and AZ in his Doe or Die vocals on the mic. With the underground hip hop east coast RZA production style,And Jazzy smooth Pete Rock and ATCQ kind of beats. But most of it was kind of weak and him not being true to himself.

Honestly I'ves slept on it. But I heard he completely stole AZ's style on it, which would make sense since he sounds so different in his next album.
