To give an impressive speech on your topic, you may include the Golden Rule on your speech. " Do unto others what you want others to do unto you." Not you are expecting a return in helping others but if you extend a hand to someone that kind little act is like doing something good fir yourself.

"Helping others is in some way helping ourselves because we're human beings after all and so we can also experience the same difficulties in the future as others do. There are times where we do not find any one to help us when there is most need of one. But by helping others we create friends and expect them to do the same when we face similar circumstances as 'A friend in need is a friend indeed'. Everyone needs others to help him fix his problems because that's what humanity is all about."
