"Unsupported File" appears when I try to watch a recorded tv programme on my USB Flash Drive?
I just don't understand why suddenly the above appears and wont let me watch what I have recorded.
I use a Sandisk 32GB USB Flash Drive plugged into my TV to record television shows onto it so I can watch them later on. I have had no trouble previously. Now suddenly when I click on one of these recordings to watch I get a message appear 'unsupported file' and it just wont let me watch them. I haven't done anything different.
Can someone please help me and bear in mind I am not a whiz at any of this so please be gentle:)

So this is a drive you record on, and play back via your TV. If you have the option on the TV settings to "format the disk" I would try that first.
If not you could try to format it in a computer., and or test the files to see if they play.
But maybe it would be best to try another Flash drive to determine if its a problem with the TV or flash drive.
